February Newsletter

My life for a sliver of sunshine.

Hello friends, I’m writing from the bi-polar Midwest where our weather has swung (violently) from 50* and sunny to 25* and blustery AF. All in the span of a week. But now that February (and oh my god the longest January EVER) is finally over I can see spring weather on the horizon.

Hey Ashley - why are you talking about the weather so much? I’m so glad you asked, I would love to tell you… because I’m avoiding the rest of reality. We all know what I’m talking about, I don’t even need to name names. Let’s just say this winter I have used Ted Lasso, rereading my comfort fanfictions, writing new smut, and copious amounts of ice cream to avoid thinking about the real world 24 hours a day.

But it hasn’t been all bad! Cupidly Yours came out and a bunch of you shared with me how much you loved Simon and Luna’s antics. I have some more news about them that I’ll share down below. I read a bunch of amazing books - both indie and trad. And I participated in my first “Stuff Your Kindle Day” - sharing a grand total of 307 copies of The Missing Piece to new readers! Oh! And February was my most successful author month!

So while I will continue to join you all screaming into the void, I’m also going to take the good with the bad.
